Touchscreen question

Hi everyone,

I tried to search the forum before asking the question as not to duplicate it...but found nothing...

When I took delivery of the TLX, I notices that when I used the touchscreen, there's a little vibration after touching it.

It's not the same smooth feeling than for exemple the iPhone...

Is it something that is normal with the touchscreen in the TLX or is there any specific setting that allow to disable the vibration? The salesman told me that it is normal to feel like a "little electricity" when touching it? Sorry...it's hard to describe properly

What is your experience?

Thanks for your help.

Yes, it can be turned off in the screen settings.

It's known as haptic feedback. I don't know what it's called in the screen settings. I was far more bothered by the keypress beeps, which I turned off almost immediately.

I believe in the screen settings it's called "Vibration".
BTW, Cogentin2000, check your navigation manual. It should be in there.

Yep, it can be disabled in your settings menu. I think manufacturers are using it to establish a "physical" sensation to a virtual screen. I don't mind it, but I agree that the beeps are annoying.

Page 221 of the owners manual shows where it is. They just call it vibration.
