So i was thinking of doing an ipad mini install on my 15 acura tlx. I remembered how much i loved my ipad mini install on my old 3rd gen tl. I thought about replacing the top information screen of the TLX. I don't really think i'm going to miss much as long as i can find a way to get rear view camera through the ipad mini. The dimensions seem to match up nicely. Tryting to get some more thoughts or ideas, in case i'm out of the loop on some information.

 

Seems like a bit of a reach for a touch screen. I'm 6ft with a fairly long reach and having to tap and swipe on an iPad in the top screen area would be a pain I'd imagine.

 

Put it on the lower screen.

 

That was my initial thought, but wondering if i'm going to lose most of the functionality there.
