Does anyone know how to switch the mode to show the name of the artist and song when in XM or even in FM?

 

You need to be in Audio mode for that to be displayed in the top screen. I don't have my AWD Advance yet, scheduled to be built this week, but it's the same as my '14 MDX Tech. Press the audio button just above the big center dial, then select the type of audio you're listening to, like XM, then it will show the channel name, artist, and Song name. If you switch it over to Navigation, you'll lose the artist/song feature. I haven't completely checked it on FM but it's my understanding that the radio station has to send out the correct signal that carries the data.

 

On my lower screen when in XM mode song and artist is shown just below the station name.

 

Sorry I didn't clarify it better. I do see it on the top screen when in Audio mode. I was trying to get it display in the bottom screen when the top is in Navi. Miner let me know if you see any setting somewhere that I might be able to change to show it.

 

Ok I found the fix for anyone interested. You must have the audio in tune mode and not preset. This applies to XM as well as FM.

Lol. I was coming here to answer your question because I messed with the interface when driving home when I thought "oh yeah, I wonder if you can do what that guy asked on Acurazine?" I discovered the same thing. Just hit "Tune" on the lower screen to display it.
