New iPhone with IOS 8

The big reveal happens today - what are the odds the new phone/OS will work seamlessly with the TLX?

I think it will work the same a the 5S with IOS 7. Apple knows cars use USB and wouldn't take the ability away, plus they are working with many auto manufactures now for their IOS in car thing. Also i never had an issue when I had my TSX when upgrading to a new iPhone.

I'm thinking about when the 5s came out and all the problems the people had on the Honda site getting it to work properly (paring, importing phone book, etc) - they always tend to change little subtle things that can screw up integration with other ecosystems.

I'll be making the jump so I guess I'll find out!

Wow I didn't know about all of the 5S problems, I use a 5C. I was planning to upgrade as soon as they become available but now I'm thinking I may should wait a bit and see if anyone has any issues! Either way I'm excited to see what Apple has ready for us!

I'm excited too - my 4s is a bit long in the tooth these days.

I think the biggest problem was the car stopped being able to read your texts when they came in while you were driving. Of course you can still have siri do it via the phone but it was nice to have the text read and displayed on the MID.
