Looking to see if a 2018's tlx navigation will work in a 2015 tlx
Long story short, my wife broke the screen in her car and I have to replace it. So I was wondering if the 2018 with car play work in mine?. I have a 2015 tlx sh-awd tech

My guess is the wiring harnesses would be different. Maybe someone here has the answer but probably get a better answer from the dealership

Not looking for the long story but just curious how the Mrs. managed to break the screen. I think they are pretty solid, no?

It fits perfectly!!, Works perfectly. Only thing is radio had one more plug alot but the cars harness didn't have that plug. But it works just as the original even better I'm happy with the result

All the controls and everything work as though it was the original 2015 head unit? Including the HVAC system?

What trim is your TLX? I have an Advance and the only thing I could possibly think of the extra plug/harness is for possibly the heated/ventilated seats?

When you say head unit, you mean the unit with touch screen only, right?
