Getting Aha to work in i4 base

The i4 base has an Aha option but I cannot seem to get it to work. When I press on the input, it says 'no data'? Is this function only for tech packages? I noticed an Aha option in AcuraLink App but I cannot use the App because I don't have tech package or does it work with standard Aha app.

Thanks in advance

I had to "enable" AcuraLink before Aha would connect. I have the 90 day free trial, but as I understand it, once enabled I do not need an AcuraLink service for using Aha.

That said, I really doubt that Aha is worth fiddling with. It is slow and quirky. Give Pandora a try, you will probably prefer it. Only downside it for the best results you should subscribe--the free version has adds and pauses.

Thanks Sbillard.

How do you enable Acuralink with a non-tech package model? It asks for a VIN (no problem) and PIN. Where would I get a PIN from?

That's the issue I was running into. It wants a PIN that I don't have. I tried going to the site directly to see if i had to create an account before getting a PIN and it just wanted the PIN there as well.

After being annoyed with that I haven't looked into it any further...

I contacted Acuralink call centre and figured it out. If you have the base model, you need to down load the Acuralink STREAMS APP (not the AcuraLink Connect APP!). You can register there without a PIN and then Aha works.

Haven't figured out how to get Twitter feeds / Facebook updates etc. but I wonder whether these advanced features are only for the Tech package.
