I got my 2015 TLX a few weeks ago and have been super happy with it thus far, however I noticed that my Bluetooth is always connected even when the car is off. This happened on both my android and iOS phones.
to be clear, here are the steps
1) Turn car on
2) Connect phone to radio via Bluetooth
3) make phone calls/listen to music
4) turn car off
5) try to make a call using your phone handset
outcome: phone is still connected to the car Bluetooth, even thought the car is off and Bluetooth receiver should be off as well.
anyone else experience the same issue? wondering if this is a software update or a setting somewhere.

How long did you wait after the car was turned off? Accessories like sunroof, windows, phone stay powered for a period of time to permit you to close up the car, etc. 30 or 45 seconds, most likely. Once you open the door, however, it should disconnect.

It was at least an hour later before I noticed that my phone is still connected to the car. again this happened on both my phones, so I don't think it's a certain phone model or a phone issue. it's just weird that the Bluetooth receiver is still on hours after the engine was turned off.

I'd check with the dealer, and if you bought it used perhaps someone installed after market electronics that may have been removed, and they changed the wiring. We have 2 Android phones, don't see the behavior at all. In fact mid-call when you turn the car off it switches to the handsets.

Update
So u took it to the dealer this week. They didn't believe me until they tried it with their own phone. They kept the car for a few days and I just got it back today. It turns out they replaced the TCU unit and the XM unit. Not sure if the XM unit is related to the issue but my XM stopped showing up in the audio sources. Everything works like it should now.
