Battery Terminal Suggestions - Amp
Hey guys I'm new here so give me a bit to learn your ways. In the mean time I recently purchased a 2018 TLX and added an amp. Connecting to the battery is a bit disgusting and was looking to see if anyone had a better way of connecting here.
4 gauge wire attached to battery that runs to AMP.

you're looking for a distribution block or a battery terminal block.

I'm looking for a cleaner way to still use the factory terminal connection to the battery. What I was thinking was getting another terminal connect that has a bolt on it that I could remove then add another post to it. That way I could connect the original to the new post on the terminal and the new terminal to the old post. Kind of piggyback it. Then I thought it might look tacky or bulky and was wondering how anyone else who installed an amp or any power lines to their battery did it.
Here is what I was thinking about getting.

a distribution block or battery terminal block would be the cleaner way.
you don't have to use the website I linked, there are other battery terminal blocks that you can buy.
the way you are proposing will work, just not very clean looking.
