I find that most cars have dim back up lights nowadays. It's a real pain when trying to light up wet concrete with my Accord. I know because I backing into my driveway and into my garage every day. It's a long and narrow driveway. I hope the back up lights can be changed out, I'll be on board for that upgrade

I had reverse led bulbs for 4g TL and they were bright. 3 times longer then the halogen bulbs had leds surrounding sides and mini projector lens to focus the light coming straight out the taillight. Lit up the back like LED flashlights when reversing. Hopefully they are the same bulb size in the TLX. If someone can confirm that would be great.
Well, according to the official Acura Parts information on MyAcura.com here's what I see for a 21W light bulb for my TLX Advance:
bulb, wedge (12v 21w) (Stanley) - Part Number: 33303-SL4-003
Doing an internet search seems to reveal that this particular bulb is used in a number of vehicles across Honda/Acura. I had a hard time locating the backup light part number for the TL for some reason.
Interestingly, I read a review of light bulbs on this forum and the reviewer believes that LED lights aren't very good for back up lights. He's of the opinion that replacing them with halogen lights at the same voltage provide more light than LEDs.
Not sure though Not my area of expertise, but the post was very thorough and has some information about this specific part number:
Update:
I've gone with the recommendations of the guy in the link. Purchased a couple of these:
7440 NOKYA halogen Hyper White (blue glass), 100% brighter, 12v/ 21w rating. I will do before/after pictures or likely video so everyone can see. I wanted to stick with something that was the exact same voltage/wattage so I wouldn't have to do any modifications.
Cool! I'll be curious to see how the halogen vs. LED at that lumen rating stack up. Maybe we can do some night time photos to see how they look.
I am looking forward to your reviews on the differences for Backup Lights.
I am concerned with excessive heat from the brighter bulb. Also, I would like the same mounting mechanisms; screw-in, pop-in. I don't want to mod the car in any way. I want to keep it simple.
Sorry, whatmeworry, I've got them sitting here, but not yet installed. I wanted to wait until my paint issue with the TLX was resolved by Acura before I did the modification.
I got the TLX back on the 16th ...and then my Dad passed away on the 20th Definitely soon, though. It'll be a good project to keep my mind off things.
I posted this in another thread, so going to copy/paste it here. Hope it helps.

The bulbs were less than $20 on fleabay.
The trunk light is actually white, but my cell phone made it look blue. It is the typical white LED hue. These were only a few bucks
I have a 2013 rdx that is an excellent car except for the back up lighting.I replaced the bulbs with leds that I purchased at Autozone for about $20.00 and they are a lot brighter. However,if you want to turn around and look behind you as you reverse(instead of just relying on the rearview camera)the backup lights are useless.I am going to install a set of aftermarket LEDs in hopes of greater visability.
dezymond- got an update for us after a year of use? They still working? Or have you moved to something else?
When I punch this part into Amazon, it tells me.....This does not fit your:2015 Acura TLX
