Has any anybody add a sub and had a problem with the rear deck rattling even when bass is turned down i tried insulation between the deck and trunk lining which helped a little but its annoying any suggestions thanks

 

I don't have a sub and that rear deck has vibration/rattles from day 1 when I picked up my new 2018. I brought it back and they claimed they added some insulation. It is better but still rattles and vibrates. Only suggestion is to Dynomat (sound insulation) it yourself the whole rear deck top and bottom. I did this on a my 2012 TL and no rattles and bass responses was a lot better. Now I just need instructions on how to rip apart a 2018. LOL

 

Sound dampen the rear deck and the trunk if time and money permits. Extra mass = less rattles.

So it’s not just me. The stock system is terrible, right? What’s it cost to upgrade this thing. Can’t they just turn the factory amp up a little?
