Exclamation Acura Link Alert

2019 TLX
All of a sudden our 2019 Acura TLX randomely says "This feature requires an active subscription to AcuraLink... please call blah blah"

It just happens for no obvious reason and sometimes it repeats over and over.

We never had an Acura Link subscription... that we know about. We bought it as a Certified Used.

We called the dealership and they want 60 bucks just to diagnose so we are hopeful someone knows how to disable this 'alert'

Certified used gives you a 6-12 month free Acuralink subscription. Maybe it just ran out.

Regarding what triggers it, don't know. Make sure you update to the latest software version to minimize bugs, but maybe the Acuralink button the roof is pressing on potholes, maybe push it a few times to loosen it.

I have Acuralink on my 18 RLX and 19 MDX. A few years ago, I had an 19 RDX I didn't own pop up on my Acuralink on my iphone and I couldn't delete. The RDX was in my same state (NM) around 100 miles away. I couldn't delete the vehicle and I called Acuralink and they couldn't delete from my account. It eventually went away (not sure with Acuralink app updates or at the Acuralink servers). My SWAG is Acuralink is a below average app with bugs OR the app developers are "phishing" Acura owners to remind them it is out there and give the app a try for this feature.
