My both cars will take the same 2023 Brown DVD Map update. Will one DVD will be enough for both cars? Thanks

 

I just received 2023 Brown DVD maps DVDs.
To register it asks Product Serial Number... and it sends to Soft version, Device and VIN ##s on your car.
So what is the product serial nimber? a set of 5 blocks needed to be entered.
Pleasde advice.

 

I am sure you have found the serial number by now - it's on the back of the Navigation System Installation Guide.

 

The purpose of the vin process is to prevent you from using the same dvd on two cars
