2019 TLX add a circuit

Hey guys,

I need your help here. I'm installing a dashcam and I'm using an add a circuit fuse. When installing this add a circuit to the auxillary or the cigarette lighter, after turning off the car, the dashcam is still on. I've tried another aux fuse and its the same thing.

Question is what slot did you guys use for the add a circuit for a switched power supply? It seems that whatever slot I use the power is still on. I have another way to go about this but its my last resort to tap into the cigarette lighter wires. If anyone has take apart either lighters, I would like some insight on this.

Thank you in advance!

I experienced the same and after trial & error, I had decided to use parking fuse, not sure the # but it works fine.

Still I have a problem because parking lights are not ON during day so camera stays in Parking Mode. During night time, It's fine.

Hope to hear from other users who installed dashcam using T-Taps.

I used spot #4, which is empty spot if I remember correctly. Sorry for the bad picture but the add a fuse is where the red dots are at.
