to me at least model year 2015 has been longer than usual, especially for a first year model. i'm waiting on the '16 TLX which should irons out some of the first year kinks.

 

IIRC, the first '15 TLXs were available early August of 2014.

I believe that they were supposed to be available several months earlier, but were delayed. I recall reading that the delay may have been due to issues with the transmission(s). From reading comments here, it appears that there are still issues with the transmissions. It will be interesting to see if the MDX and ILX have better results with the transmissions.
