Valet Key
Valet Key
Not to sound stupid, but which part of the "Fob", do you give to the Valet; is it the actual key, or the Fob, less the key?
On my '12/TL/SH-AWD, there was a slot for the keyfob; no more

It appears you just give him the fob alone--you can lock out the trunk with the glove box switch and then key lock the glove box, so your trunk and glove box are not available. Seldom used, IMO, but like most others.
FOB less the key.
That will allow the valet to drive the car and open the doors but not allow the valet to open the glove compartment. You can turn off the auto trunk unlock within the glove compartment. I had the same question when saw someone with this type of FOB.

^^ *lmao* I was running out of places to stash my wads of cash so I had to find a way to spend it somehow so I am considering getting one of those less fuel efficient more expensive brands
Just kidding....I am not offended BTW
