V6 throttle response?

Non taken. I'm not comparing this car to anything else on wheels. This is a Acura TLX forum and I'm just sharing data about my car. I appreciate the fact that you may have other fast cars like many of us do. Please share data about your TLX that may help others with issues they may have or sway buyers to purchase or not purchase the car.

I'm one that complain about that and during my test drive i feel it that delay.
My dealer just call me to offer me a TLX AWD for 24h test drive. I should do that next week and probably I'll have more time to evaluate this is issue more deeper.
For me this is a really deal breaker if proved that to be persistent.
I'm spoiled by the way how my 4G drives and I really hope that TLX is on par with 4G dynamically.

Nexx , I wrote on other thread my experience after 24h with TLX and I said is not for me. The throttle response and the jerk movement when you stop kill the joy for me.

I am still driving my 2G TL Type S and I noticed the delay in shifting today on my second test drive. The TLX seems to pause a little before the power comes. When I used the paddle shifters, it was very slow (read up on the dog gears and why downshifting may be slow on the 9speed). I have to say that my 2G TL type S via tiptronic is much faster in response, but of course, I only get an average of 23MPG in the 2G and it is slower in the 0-60 benchmark...

Yawn! My son's engineless go-cart does the 0 to 60 in 2.9 seconds…..off a steep cliff after a short drop from a plane, but still pretty darn impressive. We lost the boy but still have the cart. My point……we'll, I have none….oh I remember…..the percentage of drivers who truly car about whether their car is .5 of a second slower in the 0-60 or 0 to 100 times is directly proportional to the percentage of American males who would watch tennis over football…..it's small
