Type-S MT unlikely?

I read that story too and although I would want to think we'd see a stick back in an Acura....I think those days are gone.

Will the TLX-S be a turbo?

I'm doubtful about another Acura manual, but if they DO release a TLX Type-S with a VTEC Turbo, we might see one b/c IIRC the 8DCT can only handle 200 lb.-ft., and I don't think Type-S buyers would want a conventional automatic. Maybe they would upgrade the 8DCT, or adapt the 7DCT from the RLX SH-AWD that can obviously handle more torque.

Acura is following the lead from Ferrari and Lamborghini.

It's a weird article really. At no point does anyone from Honda or Acura say anything. I'm assuming they talked to a spokesperson from Acura. But when they do that they usually have some boilerplate comment about how they don't discuss future products.
