Trunk Weight Capacity
if you look at the driver side door where the tire placard info is; it will tell you max weight for the whole car.
it doesnt matter if you're loading the trunk or not..
from the google search i did; it says max weight is 850lbs. but double check on the door placard...as then YOU will have first hand knowledge of what your car can handle.

More than 300lbs probably gets carried in the rear of the car (back seats) with humans all the time....BUT what I'm more worried about is where those 300lbs of stones will be in contact with in the trunk area. The carpeted-board doesn't seem appropriate to have that much load...you'll need to make sure there is a safe and secure flooring in the trunk to handle that weight....

Max load is 850 lbs., so I’m good. I have a trunk tray so the stones won’t be on carpet. I’m going to put the stones in a heavy duty carton, and pack thick styrofoam around to keep the carton from shifting.
