Just as expected, for the most part, the levels and colors of the new TLX just appeared on the locater.

Thank you for the information.

There was always hope
No Acura Athletic Red Pearl either....oh well, never really thought it would make it to production anyway. I guess the Badger fans here will need to find another color option.

Yeah, I thought we'd see a real red based on all that athletic talk during the revealing. I'm a lil excited about the Slate Silver. I hope it's like the slate grey/silver color that Timmy18 posted.

Well, at least Acura offer a new interior color. But it's weird that they don't offer White/Parchment which I think a very popular color combo?!?!

Edit: Found it. The TL red stinks. Not bright enough.

Great information!
I wonder what black copper pearl will look like?
I'm assuming Espresso will probably be similiar to umber interior in the 4G TL and 2G MDX. Wouldn't surprise me if that interior option was only available in the advance trim as well.

I suspect that our versions in Canada will be more simple with a Base, Tech and Elite.
I do not want/need the lane assist, blind spot, cooled seats and all that blah blah stuff...I can drive my car myself. I may have to upgrade to the Elite if they come up with something so wicked that I can't live without but for now, if I do get a TLX, I suspect it will be the SH-AWD (V6) in BWP (with black interior) with a bodykit.
One thing that may push me to the Elite would be the choice of wheels....if teh wheels are that much sexier, I would consider getting the top trim.

Don't worry. "Slate silver" is a real silver color, and will look silver.

As for the Espresso interior, the Espresso interiors I've googled so far seem everything from a dark brown to a peanut butter color.
I hope they don't do something like offer the white/ebony combo only in Canada. lol

Seriously. I prefer Milano red to this.

I dont think this make sense at all. I hope this is not true since after seeing that interior pic, Im set on buying a 3.5 SHAWD without tech. If they force me to buy tech, them Im buying a different car, probably a 4 series.

I would also be in the non-tech SH-AWD crowd, but I think you and I are in a small camp.

I'm hoping the SH-AWD comes with the prototype's front and rear bumpers negating the need for the add on bodykit. I'm in for a BWP/Ebony SH-AWD Advance.

Thanks so much for this great info!
I am SO MAD that the "athletic red" is not an option!!!
Acura is at it again. They used that beautiful bluish silver on the 2014 MDX prototype, and then the lovely colour was not available in the production MDX.
Now they tempted us with that absolutely drop dead gorgeous "athletic red" on the TLX prototype and it is NOT available for the production car!?
WHY!? Are these colours too interesting and beautiful to be included in the production model!? Why do we have to have BORING COLOURS in the production cars!?
OK, the only good thing is that, there will be an "espresso" interior, which I assume is a brown colour... :-) Thank goodness it's not the same old boring black, grey, parchment, blah blah blah.... sigh!

Curious about the black copper, too. I've seen something that sounds similar that looked dark orange-y.

Definitely agree they should offer white/ebony in the US. Not everyone wants to choose a darker color car just to get the ebony interior, not to mention lighter interior colors
are PITA to keep clean.

Really really really disappointed, but not unexpected from Honda. They did the same thing with the Accord Touring in the US. I'd hate to have to buy the V6 just to get cooled seats. Hmmm... the TLX excitement takes another notch downward for me.

Great minds think alike....We have the same taste. I am just happy that my g/f isn't too close to you
Wait at the official launch of the TLX and they make the announcement that the rear folding seats won't be available

I'm not a debadging kind of guy, but if the 2.4L I4 says "PAWS" on the back, I would remove it.

I am not very surprised anymore to their stupid decisions as of late pertaining to style, option/packages etc.. There is someone very clueless in charge that is making the horrible decisions that needs to go!

The RDX is the only other Acura I'd be interested in, but sometimes I feel like it is already outdated compared to the rest of the Acura line up. I'll see if they make any changes for 2015 on that car. The Lexus NX is likely to have everything I'd want in a CUV, but I'd pay through the butt for it.

^^ The RX does have the rear folding seats HOWEVER, the annoying rear thump in the rear suspension and Acura's inability (or non desire) to fix it is just irritating beyond belief. I can forgive a car company for not having it perfectly off the gate, but the RDX has been out for nearly 2 years and they still aren't committed to solve this problem. Why? Don't they care anymore? You know, its things like these that now make Acura no different than other car companies.
I could forgive them for their lack luster design given their amazing engineering and reliability but it appears its no longer the company it once was....or maybe I am just expecting too much.

Clearly the TLX and RDX are very different cars. Normally I wouldn't cross shop a sedan and a CUV, but in my older age I'm more flexible. Oh I forgot to add the MKC to potential RDX competition.

I did see the MKC at the Montreal car show and it looks very promising. I am becoming less of a brand snob as I get older and more about getting the vehicle that appeals to me, not from a "bang for the buck" from from styling, quality of material and features. Which one offers me one that appeals to me and I'll pull the trigger....
I will say that you are lucky though, because the older I am getting, the less flexible I'm becoming (physically that is) (lol)

I believe folding rear seats are in the cards for the TLX. Whether it is available on all trim levels is not clear.

^^ We all know that some information are shared with dealers prior to the release....are you sharing something you know Colin? Don't wanna get you in trouble though....
