"This all-new Acura TLX is the perfect blend of style and muscle with its elegant, well-proportioned exterior that cloaks the true sport sedan chassis and powertrain beneath," said Mike Accavitti, senior vice president, American Honda Motor, Co., Inc. "The sporty characteristics that customers found appealing in the TSX are even more pronounced in this aggressive new TLX."
Also it really annoys me you couldn't put TLX in the title.

^^Heck yeah they would. Actually if Acura brought back a body style that doesnt look overly big and bulky like the 4G and just all around bad ass similar to the 3G styling, or like how Lexus did with the new IS I would absolutely consider buying that vehicle. However, I keep looking at the spy photos and im just so sure that myself and all you guys are going to be disappointed. It looks like it has the exact same 4G bulky oversized styling with a front end that will look the same as the RLX and MDX. I mean its already pretty much a given, look at the spyshots, it looks like a covered up 4G ugh. I mean, look at what Lexus is doing, their GS and IS lineup is absolutely to die for. Acura is going to have to do something incredible to win me over, and based off these early spy shots, it aint gonna happen.

The thing that bothers most people is not the actual shift time, but during manual mode it's the delay from the input to when the shift starts. It's usually around 1- 1.5 seconds. Doesn't sound like much but when you are constantly driving in manual mode you have to anticipate the gear change and press the paddle shifter ahead of time. During WOT, the delay is slightly less, and during daily driving the delay is at its worst.
Even cars like GTI and altima have much faster responding manual modes. And those cars cost less than a TL

Just follow the their recent road map and we have a pretty good idea of what to expect.
I foresee a smaller RLX with more aggressive lines (especially the hood). Jewel headlights. A new ZF 7 or 9 automatic at the start. A high performance I4 and the earth dreams v6. Interior will look just like the RLX.
Maybe a turbo i4 in the middle? Maybe a DCT?

I think Acura has morphed over the last 5 years or so and has adjusted their target buyer...from the 25-45 range to the 45-75 year range with their cars...unfortunate because they had the whole market with the RSX, 3G TL, and RL...too bad. I don't think any of you guys 35 or younger are going to be drawn to the TLS or any Acura vehicle for that matter. Lexus has now started targeting you guys with the new IS.

A modified ILX compact sedan with a more robust powertrain will follow, and Acura’s NSX “supercar,” a high-performance coupe, returns in 2015.
beefed up ILX? would be nice to see a 2.3L turbo from the old RDX in this new modified version of the ILX. and maybe SH-AWD too.
