Question Splash guards on TLX?

So now I have the $500 accessory credit to spend and I'm considering splash guards because I chose black exterior. What are people's opinions of splash guards? Do they work? Would they look good on the TLX?

There are some that don't like mud flaps because they think it ruins the look, but they are very practical and I've had them on all my cars. I don't think they ruin the look at all. Mud on the side of the doors ruins the look.

I've had them on all of my Acuras. The do work. They are less visible on black cars. How about the lower door chrome trim?

They are functional and do look good when they are body color. Do them if you don't intend to do a full bodykit later, they won't be compatible and the mudguards will have to come off.

Awesome, thanks. They look more subtle and inconspicuous than other splash guards I've seen (including on my TSX).

You sure those moldings are going to prevent dings when they're that low? Nowadays it seems like they're more to make the car look better than guard against dings.

Nothing is worse to me than door dings... My past 2 accords seem like they are very susceptible to door dings, hopefully the acura will be a little stronger. I thought the molding looked very low as well...
