SEMA TLX at Twin Cities Auto Show

The SEMA TLX made by Galpin Auto Sports is at the Twin Cities Auto Show. I know it has been the subject on this forum before. But I thought some might appreciate these new pics. The blue color is VERY bright. It is interesting that the car info lists this as a new Acura color - Andaro Blue.

These pics are for those that would like a more prominent rear spoiler, visible exhaust tips or a painted shield in front. Enjoy.

Note the gloss black shield.

Note the rear spoiler.

Note the visible exhaust tips.

Not sure about the way they had to do the exhaust tips. I'm fine without them, although if the added ones ala the TL, with a little updating, I wouldn't say no.

I don't like that back end in black and what looks like fake heat fins in the middle. Custom exhaust outlets, well some seem to care, but not me. Maybe it is because I am contented with the the no exhaust tips (which I have difficulty seeing while driving or in the rear view camera).

I agree - I like the looks of the original back end too. But the front end treatment is OK for me (except I do prefer the shield in either chrome of body color).

In LOVE with that front bumper. I wish Acura made a sport bumper like that one. It would make the TLX look 1000x better.

Front looks fine. Little boring considering they could do anything they want.
Rear looks awful. Like a poor attempt at copying a Mustang with the plastic looking black accents.
Could have slapped a gt bumper and duck tail on there and called it a day.

The color rocks !
Body Kit.... mmmm its ok. I still see the factory one does the job quite well.
Spoiler, I don't see much of a difference.
Exhaust tips... look nice but that black rear bumper makes them look ugly .... like a photoshopped swimsuit model !

And OH !!! ... Did I say, I wanna steal those wheels ?

The wheels look like the new NSX wheels or the 2007 TL Type S wheels (which I loved, only they were color coordinated)

That TLX is good looking, but like i said before, most of that diffuser needs to be painted. Right now it kind of looks like an after thought. I also think it needed round quad exhaust tips.

Do they sell any of those parts individually? That grill might look nice on some stock TLX's. Spoiler is nice too.

I'd like to see what this car looks like outside in the daytime. Such an eye-catching color.
