Production began on 14 July, so why aren't any TLXs at dealerships by now?

Since TLX production began on 14 July 2014, I would like to understand:

1. WHY there are no cars at dealerships yet, considering they can build hundreds of cars per day?

2. WHY there are no brochures available at dealerships, or from Acura Client Services in CA?

3. WHY there are no "reviews" available to read about?

Am I sounding too impatient?

1 - To my knowledge they are built and stored then massed shipped out.

2 - No one really knows why yet. Not even managers in dealerships know why. All they've said is marketing has been poor on a customer level.

3 - Review embargo ends August 4th I believe. Also, most get production units to review and are just starting to receive them.

4 - There is not even accessories list available yet.

Yes.

What's the point of having brochures at dealerships without the car? Most people aren't so impatiently waiting for the car like us.

Has anyone heard an official 'on sale' date? They usually time shipment so try to make sure that one dealer doesn't have an (inventory) advantage over another.

As for press, I've heard that their drives should be happening towards the end of this month, I think the embargo date was Aug 4th. Reviews should show up after that.

That's awesome! The first of our I4 Tech's have target production dates of 7/30 to 8/03. These probably won't arrive here till the end of Aug at the earliest!

I would think they'd want to have enough cars available to ship to all their dealers at the same time. It wouldn't be fair to only supply some dealers with cars.
