For those of you that are interested in paddle shifter extension i just got these from ebay they feel great. Made of aluminum i think or at least it feels like it. The ebay sellernis awesome they helped me made sure they actually fit on my 2015 TLX since they are made for a Honda Spirior. I guess Homda recycles all their paddles and its one soze fits all.
Very nice would like a set for mine. Only thing better are fixed units on the steering column.

Functionally lets you move your hands further along the wheel & still be able to shift while turning. Only down side with wheel mounted units is a driver can lose orientation when the wheel is rotated 180* & hit an upshift when they want a downshift.
Fixed steering column paddles eliminate this disorientation from ever taking place . Right Paddle = Upshift & Left Paddle = downshift.

So far only very high end cars have this feature.
exactly my thoughts, the original ones are so tiny that you basically have to have your hands on the 3 and 9 positions in order to shit, this gives you a better range, if you don't really use the paddles then theres no point, but I do, so much better control, makes me miss my 6mt TL , the color I got was the grey gun metal looking color, its not too flashy, fits right in.
Oh gotcha guys. I really miss the shifting gears with the selector on my 01 TL, in my opinion paddles shifters just dont do justice. And Ive noticed mine from my TLX are not very responsive. If Im in 7th gear to get to say 3rd sometimes ill have to hit it more than the 4 times since it doesnt always respond. When I drove a 4cyl as a loaner wow was that fun to use the paddle shifters with the dct but in my v6 its a huge difference.

No need in even making a comment, the quote says it all
I was a little curious about the mod and I just couldn't pass this up. I will check out the extensions but I hope the above quote is just a typo.
What color did you get? You just be the "1 purchase in the last hour" that I saw when I was looking at them on eBay last night.
Like the post stated before...the gray ones. lol I was between the silver and the gray. I ended up going with the gray, but too bad they don't have a fake carbon fiber finish. I probably was that person that made the purchase. Don't think anyone knows about this product. Good thing Rick let us know about it...lol

Lol. The grey match a litter better to the silver parts of the interior. It doesnt make it seem too out of place. I have black interior so it works well.

Q50, Maxima and 370Z has fixed column shifters. I never really use them on Z or 335is.

Yeah, I have the black interior also. Silver in a lighter interior would probably be better? All thanks to you that seller is going to start making money from all of us. lol

the seller was very helpful they didn't know if it fit the TLX so they told me to measure and they would have their engineer make sure it was a good fit, they told me if it doesn't fit they would refund the money with not issue, well thank god Honda seems to be using the same paddles in a lot of their cars so it fit perfectly. seems to be very good quality build also. they hold on with 3 tiny screws you can barely see, so it is definitely sturdy.

Yeah they were pretty helpful. They asked me what car it was for and told me to send a picture of my shifters. Does those tiny screw go into the plastic shifters? Don't want to take it off and leaving indents into the shifters.

the screws rest above the paddle so all they are doing is preventing it from sliding back, the extension fits perfect so there is no shimmy or looseness.

Used them on the 335is since I always short shifted when running at WOT during acceleration. Do it the same way on the 435 but short shift at a lower RPM than the 335is.
Use the paddles a lot in town to pick a gear going around slow corners otherwise leave in in S or S+ to shift for itself.

Look and compare 10 and 15 paddle shifter on Google and see if they are the same. Most likely it is. The paddle shifter that I got is off a Honda HRV if I recalled
