the wheels on the second picture are exactly the same as the first. are you talking about the wheels on the 2nd car in the THIRD picture?
I dunno, but from the looks of that third picture, (and assuming that's the US, cause it sure looks like US soil)...that front looks pretty much like the prototype, down to the aggressive "fangs" on the bottom section.

Although lets be honest, most everyone on this board is going to change the wheels when they get the car anyhow!.

The rims on this particular vehicle are good. The other ones are... "interesting". Hey, at least they are not as bad as those ones on the base RLX.... OK, I am trying to be optimistic and positive now....
BTW, is this black? It's kinda like a very dark green to me, or perhaps it's just the monitor.

yup, looking at that interior, it reminds me of a smaller "sportier" tighter version of my RLX interior. the steering wheel looks nice and beefy like the RLX and the dash has a similar retracted angle to it that makes the car interior flow better.
the feel of the steering wheel is one of the biggest things I love about my RLX. looks like the TLX is getting it.

Is that a "heated steering wheel" button on the bottom left side of the steering wheel?
The more I look it, the more I see details...What is that plastic cover across the cluster? I am not sure that works....
The NY auto show needs to come ASAP so we can put all these concerns of mine to rest!!!

I noticed that too - hopefully that is the LED strip for the Advance/Elite trim!

Alright, I must confess that the new matt wood trim used in the 2014 MDX Advance/Elite is rather nice.... perhaps we will be getting that with the TLX too? Or am I dreaming again!?

Electronic Parking Brake. (Like Audi A/S5)
Likely "wood" is just one choice of interior. As in the 04-06 models it was an option. I'm sure they'll have other options avaliable as well.
I'm def. not feeling the Hyundai Sonata style air vents. Actually, looks like they took the interior of the 2012 Sonata and transferred a lot of it here.

Two big screens again?! why not a big one like the one in Tesla, that will follow the trend.
And the style of everything pop out of the console is old dated, the latest style is some kind of incurve. The chrome edge design is not very clever. Still need to see the real car.

I'm not seeing the prototype front bumper in any of these spy shots. All I see is basically the same thing we've seen from the previous spy shots.

So it is pretty confirmed here that the early spyshots (the one with the white TLX) and this last post are foreign models. That is evidenced by the clear bottom portion of the tail-lights. Those last pics are great because they are up close and clear.
The spy shots that look like the car is riding around on US roads is indeed the US version. The tail-lights are all red like the prototype.
So far all of this looks like a "me too" design that we predicted Acura would pull and nothing impressive. If they had balls they would have been daring to release something edgier and closer to the prototype. I'm not holding my breath for this unveiling in 2wks. These launch trims will be the volume leaders. I could care less about wheels, I would always change that. But the overall design should be more aggressive. Still no tail-pipes? Good job. I'm not impressed with that interior, ZERO sportiness there, looks like any of the competitors. Very much what was expected, nothing groundbreaking here.
I think the only hope is a real performance version that would be my taste. It always comes around later but that usually takes 2yrs. They strategically do this to restimulate interest in the model. I hope they don't wait till the mid-cycle refresh to do it though, that would suck.
As people were saying instead of tacking on "S-Type" and A-Spec badges and doing "one offs", they should get serious like AMG and //M and have a full-line of halo performance cars to revitalize their brand and show they are serious to compete. These companies don't wait 4-5yrs after a launch to release their halo cars, they wait around 1yr. That's it. Why does Acura not get this? Here they are waiting 4yrs to release an NSX? This company is asleep. Even Lexus woke up. This is not Kia. This is Honda with a pedigree for racing. This company just won't take real risks and still seems confused.

It'll look good in person and it will sell very well provided it's priced well.
What were you guys expecting? Look at what happened with the 4G TL, were you really expecting something really exciting? The car here looks just like the prototype minus the rims.

Hard to take too much away from the interior shots because it still looks like an early version, and not even a USDM car. Can't tell if its actually fake wood styled in there but honestly I think it would be an improvement over the plastic silver interior trim in the 4G, the fitment leaves much to be desired.
The two biggest take aways I have of the interior are:
-What looks like an electronic parking brake switch right behind the shifter - knew it was probably coming as they are all the rage these days but I am not a fan.
-That shifter style and location seems to seal the deal that there will be no manual transmission offered for this car - kind of speculation but the shifter area looks too tight to provide room for a shift boot and throw of a MT, the cup holders are too close. I can't see them reworking the center console area that much to make room for the shifter... so RIP 6MT.
Not sure how its a "Sonata Copy" when it matches the styling of the interior of the other vehicles in the Acura lineup...

and the button just to the left of the "phone" button below the center screen display what is that?
and this may be a dumb question - further to the right from the phone button says "audio front"and "audio rear" does that just shift the sound out put front and back? - would have thought would be a function you would get to from a menu on the display screen
