Mid-cycle price increase on 2017 TLX
I was quoted by couple of local dealers on 2017 TLX SH-AWD w Tech ~~ msrp $42,540.
Dealer is asking $35,000 on TLX delivered prior to Dec 2016.
And for TLX delivered 01/2017 onwards, it'll be $800 higher due to $100-$200 increase in msrp and less incentives.
I've heard of mid-cycle price increase. However why would there be less incentive/cash rebates for "newer" 2017's?
Unless these are actually 2017.5 model year, which I very much doubt.

Yep its true. As someone who works in sales at an Acura dealer in Southern California, I have run into this problem. I have told a couple customers who wanted a certain package that this color was $___ and this color would be $__ because MSRP and invoice changed. They thought I just did not want to sell them the color they wanted and it was a salesmen trick but no indeed the newer MDX would have cost them more money. Good Luck!
Hey bro, try the app Truecar, I got my 2017 TLX with Tech pack AWD for 36k before tax just a month ago. I went to the dealer they quote me 42k something, I just show them the app and asked if they could give me the truecar price and they immediately accepted lol
True car dealer just sent me this deal. There must be additional incentives from Acura to get rid of the 2017's. . .

That price is insanely good! They must really want to sell current inventory before the '18s arrive. Wow!
wow, that almost sounds too good to be true.
