Installing Seat Covers

I took delivery of my SSM TLX SH-AWD Advance only a month and a week ago after making my deposit at the end of July. Around 2 weeks later, I saw a scratch mark on one of my rear seats. I often drive a lot of people so I don't really know who to blame, but regardless, I'm not sure what I should do to fix it. To prevent something like that from happening again, I bought rear seat covers. To make matters worse, there's also a deep scratch on my A/C vent trim in the rear too. This is my first new car and I'm already seeing so many heart-breaking events happening to it. But onto my problem...

I'm having quite a difficult time figuring out how to follow step #18 on the instructions here. It says to "Secure the two hooks to the rear door sill trims." I took my time looking for the correct place to hook the seat covers, but I must not be looking at the right place. Can someone shed some light on where exactly I'm supposed to hook the seat cover to? A picture would be nice.

The door sill trim is the plastic trim that you see when you open the door that covers the transition from carpet to the body. Judging from the pic it looks like it attaches to a bit of the trim located partially under the seat. Just use the location of where the hook is to give you an idea where, pull back the seat cushion to see the edge of the trim. (i dont have the TLX to give detailed specifics, but the instructions seem to be pretty straight forward)

Oh, and i know its your first new car but try not to get too upset over minor things. Little things like this are inevitable and will happen. Just try to shrug your shoulders and brush it off as most every thing that will happen will be out of your control.

It's possible that the dealer has a vendor that might be able to repair the scratch for you. They can also replace the vent.
