If the 2016 ILX is any indication....

...looks like there could be grille update and led front turn signals in the TLX's future. In addition, although I did not attach a pic, the BIS indicator looks to be relocated to rearview mirrors.

I thought you were going to say that since they got rid of the MT for the ILX then we probably won't see a MT TLX!!!

Love the LED turn signals, the TLX should have already had these, but i feel confident they will add them in a few years when update time comes. Just not too crazy about the grill on the 2016 ILX, i much prefer the current TLX grill

^^ Agree regarding the grill. It's looks very much like a Honda Civic from the front, not that the Civic is bad, but I thought one thing Acura had as its mission was to do more to differentiate the line from Hondas. This seems like a step backwards on that score.

The new ILX looks great. The blue A-Spec is on point.

It's a great looking car although I liked the looks of the current model as well. It was the powertrain that killed it.

I like the new grill too - understated and classy.

Two new cars come out within months of each other and people think Acura didn't know that one of them was going to have outdated features on it?

I came from the ILX and I think the refresh looks great. Personally I think it is the game changer for the entry level model and really embellishes the "Acura: Advance" slogan with tons and tons of standard features. With the exception of probably a roomy interior, this I can see definitely drawing in a lot of the young 20's crowd.

Thank goodness they corrected the interior noise issue the same way they did for the TLX. I almost single handedly upgraded to the TLX because of the noise issue when talking to clients on bluetooth.

The refreshed ILX looks good but Acura/Honda is getting on my nerves with their trim/features.
Why cant you get Adaptive Cruise Control on the i4 TLX but now you can with the new ILX?
Same question goes for the new CRV. It comes with ACC now but not TLX.
Why is the ACC/Braking migitation/etc. feature on the ILX called AcuraWatch and not the Advance package like their other models?
Why does it appear you cant get leather on the new A-Spec optioned ILX?

They're all over the place with the trim packages and there's no consistency.

Exactly my thinking too on both accounts, LED turn signals and grille. The grille screams compromise, trying to satisfy the whiners who keep calling the Acura grille a beak and trying not to stray too far away from the current family look. I like the current TLX shield better. The TLX better have LED turn signals next update.

Now we're talking - Acura finally got some things right with the ILX - I would be shocked if sales didn't go up

Great standard equipment
Great Drivetrain
Great Fuel Economy
Outstanding Exterior - seriously I think the ILX wears the Jewel headlights better than any of the Acura stable

FINALLY A GRILL DESIGN I CAN SUPPORT!

I'd bitch about the lack of tailpipes, but Acura stopped listening a while ago...

I wonder if Acura will re-do the trim/package options like this for the TLX/RLX?

Any word on this Colin?

I'm not a fan of the I4 not being available with ACC or you having to go to Advance to get ACC on the V6 when so many safety features with less day-to-day usability are included in the Tech.

Does anyone else think the ILX grill is starting to look like the 3G TL grill?

With any luck by the time the 2G TLX is available it will look as nice as the grill on the 3G TL.

Totally in favor of that grille! I really like the current tlx grille also. I'd have to sit in one but I could see myself driving that car.
