Hello all, just purchased a 2020 TLX A-Spec. Enjoying the car! But I notice the hood us bouncing when I go over 70. I am not sure that all the hood "gaskets" (if that is the correct word) or rubber pieces are in tact.
Can someone tell me if I am missing some or provide any suggestions? I attached a photo.
Looks like its been in an accident. Did seller disclose that? Misaligned gaps in bumper cover and cowling highlighted in orange in the attached photo and highlighted in yellow the missing hood cushions. No wondered it moves on the highway. Also there are 2 recalls for the fuel pump and the crankshaft rod bearings.
Yeah, they are easily installed and if you search around you can probably find them for less than the Honda Dreamshop. Though, watch out for inflated shipping costs which some websites may use to make up the difference in the exceptionally low price.
Yeah, things seem to not be installed quite right. Looking closer at the grille, it also seems the "Blocker" behind the diamond mesh grille is missing. It could be that someone removed that part for more airflow and didn't do the best job reinstalling things.
Do you have any information on whether the vehicle was in an accident? I concur with @NDNV that it looks like a poor repair job - maybe even a non-OEM replacement bumper cover that's causing some of the fitment issues?
Finally got over the the dealership and they said these were the missing parts. Of course with labor quote was $$$. Can I order and install these myself w/o issue? Thanks all

This is probably one of the most easiest fixes/installs on the car. Get yourself a diagram of the hood with the seals and match up the part numbers locations and install.
