Hi, I'm new and trying to join the TLX family!

Hello! Former TL owner here!

I've been reading this forum without joining for a little while now but I've decided to make the TLX my next car but I'm not sure what a good deal would be. I've tried searching the forum but didn't see anything recent so I'm hoping you guys can help me out.

I just got back from my local Acura dealer and I was quoted $385/month with $1750 fees, for 36 months 10K miles for the V6 Base TLX. Is this a good deal or can I do better?

Thank you for any feedback!

Welcome. Look for a post on car buying tips to help you with the negotiation process.

Thanks! I'll check it out. However, I was hoping to see what deals other owners have been able to get for the TLX. I'm thinking that I will negotiate further to see how much lower I can get, but it would help me out if I was able to get an idea what dealers are willing to do.

Thanks again!

I looked on truecar's website prior to having mine ordered and the discount was minimal at best. From what I understand, the dealers were asking and getting close to MSRP. I also have a reliable source tell me that Acura will increase the price $500 US (approx.) each quarter, so waiting too long may add to the cost. Not sure at all how that will affect a lease, this was mainly for purchase.

Thanks, guys. The person I usually work with at the Acura dealer told me that the promo on the TLX is going away next month because the new ILX is going to coming out shortly after that. Not sure if this is true or if he's just trying to get the sale but wanted to see if you guys had any more info.

I'll definitely check truecar.com and hopefully I can get him to cut me a deal on the body kit and spoiler. It was being sold at the dealer for about $2200. I ideally would like to pay nothing up front on a lease since it won't be mine anyway. I'll try to negotiate some more and update.

Thanks all!

Thanks! I think that's pretty similar to the offer I received considering my is the base and not the tech package.

you need to pay what ACURA is offering on their website, sign n drive $390+tax
Here in FL that would be about $415 per month. Don't pay any upfront fees. Negotiate it.

TLX V6 Advance

I had much better luck getting realistic information to prepare for dealing through kbb.com. Truecar was showing everything going out at MSRP in Dec, and I got mine out the door including 8.25% sales tax, title and license for $4K under sticker - exactly the low of the range that kbb.com was showing.
