Great ride!

Saturday, was the 1st weekend since January, where the weather was great, & the skies were Blue.
Took my SH-AWD/Tech/BWP/Espresso, out for 250 mile spin; WOW!
In Sport+, & Normal, combined, MPG was 28.9
Steering torqued up tight in Sport+, & handling was superb; thx. to SH-AWD
Have about 15 DTS CD's, an Ipod, & 125 Cd's on the HDD; more than enough music, to keep me occupied.
Passed a CBP SH-AWD, on the road; lookin' good
BTW: The Goodyear Eagles were quiet, & smooth
To top it off, had a great Lobster dinner, & a Stoli Elit Dirty Martini; just 1
Lovin' my TLX more, every weekend; can't wait for the summer, to test out the A/C.

In sport+, do you have to use the paddle shifter?

Sport+ is automatic until you start manually shifting.

You can even use the paddle shifters in Sport mode if you want. I don't know if you can use it in Normal or Econ modes, but in Sport mode you can get the gears to downshift or upshift to your liking.

Yes, you can use the paddles in Normal and I suspect in Econ mode too.

We have temps in the 70's here in Ohioland today - I can't wait to crank my roof open and turn up some Stones for the drive home!

And for the record - you can use the paddles in Econ mode too - great for engine breaking or for downshifting a few gears before stomping on it to pass random Fords on the highway.

Stones! Now there's a man after my own heart; have seen them 50-100 times, all over the USA, & Montreal; have the best Mick Taylor Live recordings from '69-'73
FYI: For your double Martini; try Stoli Elit, with Blue cheese Olives
Smoothest Vodka, I've ever had; pricy, but worth every sip
