Forum help...back window gasket missing or not?

It's fall here in denver and the trees are dropping leaves and twigs etc.... I hadn't noticed till now but it appears the back window has no gasket? All this junk is getting stuck in the gap. A little annoying. Can the forum help and tell me if this is normal for the TLX? I've never owned a car without a gasket around the window. Hopefully my TLX isn't missing something here. Tried to get a quick photo of the back window gap below.

This is normal for the TLX - only gasket is at bottom where window meets trunk lid. (My 2005 TSX had the same arrangement and this was no problem for 10 years).

Nothing missing. That is completely normal, and is similar to my other non Acura car. The only think different when I looked at my back window was that I did not see an iPhone!

Same here

I never noticed before, but you are right. There is no visible gasket in mine as well.

Water drainage channel. Allows water to drain.

I agree. It is for water drainage and not a qc issue. Those leaves can be cleared by a water spray from a hose of blown air. Make sure you also clear leaves a twigs from the base of the windshield.

I like Fall weather, but the leaves & stems finding their way into every nook & cranny on my car drives me nuts. The leaves seem to be falling like crazy here in Denver right now, too!

My rear window looks like your picture too - no gasket.

It's normal. No one's TLX is going to have the gasket. My 3G doesn't have it. Neither does my dad's 5 series. Looks better without it anyway
