Floor Mats and Sunshade Recommendations

Does anybody have rubber floor mats they like? I was wondering if I should go with the Acura ones or get Weather Tech....or something else?? I got weather tech for my wife's CX9 and we like them...but her car is for the kids

Also, my front window sunshade is too small as it was for my older mazda 3, does anybody have recommendation for a good TLX sized one? thanks

We have the weather techs in the wife's RDX and I have the Acura rubber mats in my TLX.

The weather techs are great because they cover more area and because of the kids I felt it was a must in the wife's car.

I went with the Acura rubber in mine since kids are in it less and I didn't like the weather tech logo vs the TLX logo.

I normally run stock floor mats and have never had an issue with keeping them clean so this was more of an impulse buy for my car but I'd do it again.

I have the Acura stock rubber mats and they worked great in the winter. They actually go up the sides some unlike the Acura rubber mats of the past in my 3G TL. I just took them out and swapped in my cloth mats for summer though.

Covercraft makes excellent sunshades.

I received my winter mats for free with my car. They are nice quality, but if I had to pay, I'd probably get Weathertechs unless the OEMS were cheaper.

WHy not do both. I enjoy keeping a very clean car, so use:

Acura rubber mats in spring and fall;
Acura cloth mats in Summer;
WeatherTechs in the Winter.

Carpet stays CLEAN!

I have installed Weathertechs on mine since day one. I think Weathertechs should be a must especially for us Canadians. Keeps the carpet clean.

Got the sunshade, fits like a glove, looks and works good. It is really huge though, takes up all of the rear seat floor.

I'm considering weathertech floor liners (and trunk liner) for my wife's 2016 TLX FWD v6. The factory mats have anchor points that appear to match those of the weathertechs. Can anyone with the weathertechs confirm whether or not the weathertechs line up the the factory floor mat anchor locations (front and back)? I ask because when I got a set of weathertechs for my BMW I had to install the anchors that came with the weathertechs.

Driver's side anchors for the WeatherTech Floor liners are exact fit.

The rear floor liner I believe has only one anchor, but it fits perfectly as well.

Just make sure to remove your carpert floor mats otherwise it may not fit in properly. I had my carpet floor mats under the Weathertech ones for a few months and the weathertech edges got caught up with the driver seat moving back.
