I've been having a difficult time removing the air filter housing on my 2018 TLX 4 Banger. It looks the same as in the Accord which I found a bunch of Youtube videos.


but after unlatching the 3 clips, I can slide the top lid a little bit to the drivers side, but it just won't budge upwards to release. Anybody else had a hard time removing it the first time you tried and can offer tips?

 

I believe there’s 4: one on each corner

 

Should be 4 clips. I have a V6 and I swap out to an afe power drop in filter and there were 4 clip. One on each corner.

 

anyone else with a 2018 4 cylinder confirm 3 or 4 clips? I can only see 3, just like in the youtube video. Could there be a screw somewhere too?

 

Did you look in the top left for one?

 

there is one clip on the top left side, and 2 on the bottom left side. 3 in total that I can see
