Driver Seat Motion When Opening Door

When I open the driver side door on my V6 Tech the seat moves back, but not all the way. I have to push the seat adjustment button to get it to go all the way back. Anyone else having this problem?

You have to go into the vehicle settings menu and manually set it for the seat NOT to move back at exiting.

I don't believe the seat is supposed to go all the way back, but rather just a set amount to give you a little more room to more easily exit/enter the vehicle..

In my previous readings of posts here, I haven't located anybody that had a usable solution.

My wife is Key 1, I'm Key 2--interesting that if the car is locked after I drove it, and then she opens it via the driver's handle, it moves forward about an inch or so as she opens the door. Her driving position is closer to the steering wheel than mine, so it appears the "entry/exit mode" on the seat may be a set distance back from the selected Key's position rather than a full back.

Not a solution, just info.

Yup it's not supposed to go all the way back, but just a set amount to get in and out easier.

For those that don't know, this can be turned off, and on in the system settings

There are some people that would like a setting for it to go all the way back, but this does not exist.

Not unusual, my Ford works the same way. Just gives you some extra clearance to get in & out. Nice feature
