Driver Seat dimensions

Wonder if a current TLX owner can help. Wanted to know the dimensions of driver's seat bottom cushion. In particular the depth of seat from seat back to front edge. It seems about an inch shorter than my TL seat. While this may seem stupid, this is this is the only thing keeping me from purchasing. Just seems short enough to not provide enough thigh support for mw. Thx in advance

I couldn't tell you the exact dimensions of the TLX seat but I can tell you I cross shopped the TLX and the 4G AWD TL. The seats of the TLX are much flatter than the 4G TL's. Some prefer this, I do not.

I like the fuller thigh support of the 4G(and even the 3G) TL's over the TLX.
I've had part managers at dealerships tell me Acura got a lot of complaints about the heavily bolstered 4G seats not being "forgiving" enough to people who are larger so perhaps they took this into account when making the 5G seats.
I know this is true because I am the second owner of my 4G and whoever had the car before me ruined the seat because they may have "super sized" it a bit too much . Fortunately it was covered under warranty.

Thank you for taking time to measure. That is the same as my measurement on the TL yet it feels much shorter. Must be as noted above to the flatter seat profile. The seat comfort for me is reminiscent of my late 90's BMW 528- that is the seats were so uncomfortable i dumped it after 8 months. Will drive it again. Thanks again for your thoughtfulness.

Sometimes it's a matter of changing the seat bottom angle. It took me a while to find that sweet spot in my TLX where my legs were comfortable

That's what I did. I feel best with the seat base and back at an angle, and the bolstering on my Type S caused discomfort on long trips, where this does not. And I am slender. ;-)

I absolutely love the TLX seats over my old TL.

It took me a few days of tweeking angles and lumbar, but there is a lot of adjustment, and I haven't touched it since getting the golden setup.

Aside from the seats, the overall comfort of this car's ride, quietness, etc will make you fall in love.

It's rather important to use the 10 way adjustable seat controls to get the perfect setting. Avoids a lot of complaints later. I am 6' 188 lbs and find the seats extremely comfortable, as do almost all of the reviews I have read.
