The noise factor is indeed a big deal to me and one reason I got rid of my TL-S for a TLX. The only car quieter in this class is the MB C-class. And that Mazda6 doesn't come with all the TLX features. Notably SH-AWD or, if you get the FWD I4, that 8DCT is not to be underestimated.

As a side note, I don't understand this headlight issue. The headlights on this car are amazing, best of any car I've ever had.

Maybe it was the same issue of CR but I also saw where they had a page labeled "worst of the worst" and the TLX was right there. Disappointing since Acura had consistently been rated among the highest in terms of reliability. I have to say we love our 2012 TL and it has been rock solid.
