Acura is recalling RLX and MDX for CMBS issues. Will the TLX Adv be next?

 

Well, most manufacturers will try to use as many components across vehicle platforms to minimize cost and inventory, so if there's a problem with those cars, then the TLX is a very likely candidate for one too.

 

I think maybe the system is different with vehicles that have the AcuraWatch system that technically debuted with the TLX even though it wasn't labeled as such just yet. I think maybe the system on the '14-'15 MDX and RLX is a generation behind but I'm not 100% sure.

 

I had the CMBS issue addressed yesterday on my RLX - it was a software update.
