Black and Espresso

Want to hear something that'll make you laugh even more? Here in the US, I was in a dealership over the weekend where I heard a couple driving a TSX and Accord contemplating upgrading to a TLX. The guy wanted Fathom Blue, but was ticked there was no black interior. He was asking why they wouldn't put a black interior as an option for the blue exterior. I just said "because they're Acura".

I really don't get it at all. it's not even called Fathom Blue in Canada. Called "obsidian blue".
I would not have ordered my blue one if it didn't come with black interior. It seems Canada is getting a much better option and features in the TLX all around

I think it's just different for different people. I don't think I'd consider the blue one, but if I did, I think I'd rather have a lighter interior for it like the graystone. The Basque Red color only comes with parchment interior, from what I recall, but that's the color that works best with it in my opinion. I'm just glad I can get ebony with white and ebony with black, as one of those will more than likely be what I'm going to be ending up with.

I checked in ISIS and they both have the same paint code (B-588P), so they are the same color, but have a different name.

It is really bizarre that Acura Canada and Acura USA cannot seem to synch their vehicles...I would think that this would make the production costs even more effective.

Never could understand why any color interior is not available with any color exterior.

Congrats! The black and espresso combo looks HOT!!!!!!!!!!
I see that you're in Florida so your car will probably look clean most of the times, but a black car here in Calgary will look dirty most of the times LOL
Would you mind posting more photos of the exterior please, including the rear lights please? Thank you very much!

I've always found white the easiest to maintain. Silver and beige disguise dirt better but white is not as bad as dark colours, hides scratches and dings best, easiest to retouch. Biggest issue is non matching bumpers on Pearl whites, Odysseys are terrible but even Lexuses are bad. Its a result of how the paint adheres to plastic as opposed to metal. White whites are not a problem so I am hoping bwp on the TLX is OK. People up north say sometimes you can't see white cars in the snow....
