Any tips on how to maintain electronic components on 2018 Acura TLX?
Just bought a used 2018 Acura TLX Elite 2.4 L FWD with 25000km (15000 miles in the US)
which is in like new condition with a few cosmetic issues like scratches which is to be expected on a used car in Canada. Now I just want to know if anyone has any tips on how to make all the electronic components such as heated and ventilated seats, heated steering, car sensors like blind spot, lane keep assist, parking assist etc… working for years without failing. I plan on keeping the car for a long time, I will do my regular maintenance such as oil changes and I will put premium gas.

there's a few reasons why electronics die..
- Heat
- Corrosion
- Stress/Impact
- Open/shorts in circuit
basically, out of your control.
if your electronics die; you can try to repair them by Closing Circuit/repairing short if that was the problem. if the problem is corrosion, one can try to clean the metal contacts.
or you can replace the sensor/electronic with a brand new one.
I take that back, the best way to keep electronics alive is to keep them clean, dry and dust free.

kinda...but from the insides of the electronics. meaning you gotta tear down the parts to clean them...and from a vehicle stand point, there is no need to do all of that.
for the most part, it will be out of your control.
How do you prevent a PS5 from dying??
by not playing it and keeping it sealed in the box forever.

it's meant for you to use those items...
all electronics will die.
dont limit yourself on the functions of your car, of which you paid for...(unless you really want to torment yourself...and if you're tormenting yourself, why the heck did you buy a "luxury" vehicle....you could do the same with an econo box without those functions)
when the electronics die, either fix them or replace them.
it's that simple.

why the heck would someone buy a PS5 and not play it? because they are scared it will die? might as well not have bought it
keep the machine in a dust free, non-enclosed well ventilated area(heat free) and it will live a long life.
same thing with your cars electronics. dont spill shit. keep it clean and it will live a long life
