This just in….almost all reviewers either like or love the car. Almost no beak comments, some even figure out that you can have the navigation up while viewing the touch screen controls separately. Has the world gone crazy??

I think people who find less than positive reviews are told to leave the forum and they are idiots and the person who reviews them to have no idea of what they are talking about. This site has become increasing fanboyish over the years. I'm sure I'll be considered a traitor for not praising the Acura gods. I happen to like Acura but I also realize (dare I say it) there is room for improvement.

Haha - head over to the Problems & Fixes section - you'll see many of the "fanboys" posting about their problems/frustrations. I think many of those "room for improvement" discussions happened early on after the car was rolled out. I mean really - how long can we continue to beat the "exposed tailpipes and manual transmission" horse?

Wow, just wow.

We all concur there is no perfect car but damn, heaven forbid we back up and even defend the car this forum is created for.

If you don't like the car, find one you do but why whine about it?

BTW, the post you responded to was in regards to, if I read it correctly, there YouTube reviewers posts in this thread, not us daily users.

Again, wow... you are gonna bust a gasket

Did you even read what I said?!?!? I said I LIKE the acura. You pretty much reasserted what I said with your comment about whining.

I think this is the part of the statement that may be triggering the responses you see because while most people love their TLX and don't like to see their vehicles bashed, I rarely seen people that bash the TLX get told that they are idiots and they should leave Acurazine....

I have been harsh to an extent with Acura and the TLX despite loving the brand some aspects of the TLX...I have said it respectfully and explaining what I didn't like about it without trying to convince others to not buy a TLX - The result is I have most members here understand me, respect me and never told me to go to another forum.

It's too bad you have such a chip on your shoulder. It's clouding your judgment.

I didn't say you didn't like Acura! Did you even read what I said??? I said "the car", not the company

Here's a tissue.

Don't worry about Stew4HD. He's just pissed off his idle-stop doesn't work (starts up in higher gears, engine turns off when you're about to park just to turn on again, etc). He should stop taking out his frustrations on other people. Same thing with Weather and his other goons.

It's a shame that they will buy Acuras and drive the same cars we do. They should buy a BMW. Maybe they don't make enough money. Maybe Stew4HD engineered the leaning tower of pisa and that's why he's buying entry-level luxury sedans..

I don't make enough money Is there some sort of acura crowd funding for people like me who didn't live up to their potential?

^There are bashers, and trolls, and also wolves in sheep clothing who are really trolls and just drop in to yank your chain. It is pretty easy to spot them, first clue being they do not bother to identify their location or cars they drive.

Review: 2015 Acura TLX offers upscale value | CTV News | Autos

Recent Canadian news network review, with some errors, but on balance, quite complementary overall.

"Frustration Be Thy Name" review from auto123

The reviewer primarily has gripes with the 9-speed transmission and has what appears to be general frustrations with Acura lack of massive change. To me, it sounds like he/she generally had positive things to say about the TLX but since it isn't revolutionary nor "rocked" his/her world, it was a major ding.

Personally, I am STILL waiting for July before I can go hunting for a new car and am eagerly waiting to see if I can get my hands on a nice i4 in my color of choice.. but we'll see what happens when the time comes.

Looking at some side by side comparisons and this one comparing the I4 to the IS350 was short and sweet.

Good to see a comparison that was not the usual. Intriguing idea to compare the I4 TLX to an ES350. Not sure it is more than a supposed exercise in contrast to showroom actuality. The ES350 size, performance and demeanor are much closer to the RLX than the I4 TLX. One could even make an argument it is the value alternative to the RLX. The ES350 is comparatively light for its size, engine and appointments .Since the ES350 outsells the RLX and the TLX combined that would help back up that premise. An updated ES350 is due out in a few months. Nice to see these what if comparisons nonetheless.

I stand corrected yet again. Perhaps it's the confusing Lexus packaging and nomenclature, a criticism often levelled at Acura. Anyhow, perhaps it's time for Weather to fully out his current ride

Good review. It's amazing how many good reviews there are of the Acura TLX….For ant Acura to garner that many good reviews is almost unbelievable

On a more serious note, I found his comments about the Idle Stop feature to be confusing when he talks about the system being slow to restart. Personally, I like having the car shut off for as long as possible for longer lights. You can turn the car on manually and quickly at any time by just touching the gas pedal. i use it all the time and appreciate the additional fuel economy. If you are in stop and go traffic and don't want to use the Idle Stop, simply use lighter break pedal pressure.

Loved the reviewers opinions obviously, but i appreciated his relaxed but well informed summary even more. He was very knowledgeable without that "I know best" attitude that often comes through from many reviewers. He avoided the easy cliches and did a nice job of really capturing the highlights of this car.

Not sure if this has been posted already/elsewhere.....

2016 Nissan Maxima vs. 2016 Acura TLX Mashup Review | TFLCar.com: Automotive News, Views and Reviews

I think that the title may give you a hint about the review....didn't know that the 2016 TLX was out yet.

Sorry....just found this posted in the other thread from last night.
