I rarely get to let my tlx on the open road. This is because a lot of my driving is in Bay Area traffic. But this was really good since I hit 40 mpg on a trip from San Francisco back to Fremont. (35 minute drive)

 

40 MPG on the highway is great! Are you driving the 4 or 6 cylinder?

I'm driving the 6-cylinder SHAWD and am tickled with my 34-36 MPG on the highway.

It lacks some 0-60 but many other luxury cars with 4 cylinder are turbo charged and I don't really need that

Otherwise going from traffic speed of 20-30 mph to 60 is no problem

Very smooth

I think if I take a long drive I can beat my old hybrid's mpg
