Looks awesome Bob - those pictures are dangerous though. My wife would kill me if I even took a test drive in one...

Go test drive it at least, Cheesey. Motorcars has a red A-Spec that was sitting outside as I was leaving the dealer yesterday afternoon. That red is also awesome in person.

That is one sweet car Bob-enjoy !!
It is great to see Acura put out a product that garners the excitement the A Spec is getting so far. Acura and Honda have upped their game with each MMC and redesign the past few years. My niece works at a Acura dealer in Pennsylvania and the A Specs are selling both front wheel drive an SH AWD's as soon as they arrive with minimal discounts so far, demand is that strong right now.

The rlx hybrid is such a sleeper and a valid competitor to other comparable class cars. I was in the market for that model prior to my purchase of the a-spec. I do not regret anything! Comming from a rear 2010 shawd 6sp mt I can tell you its an equally fun ride experience. Just wish the brakes were a bit grabbier in the a spec in comparison to my mt shawd 2010.
Happy father's Day to all the dads!!!!!!

Based on the improvements to the TLX, I expect an amazeballs RLX MMC....whenever it shows up.

I enjoyed the RLX SH. Before I made the deal on this A-Spec, I tried to make a deal for the brand new 2016 RLX SH, yes 2016, that's just gathering dust at the dealership. Acura removed all lease support for the 2016 RLXs. My only option would have been to purchase. Getting a 2017 RLX SH is too difficult, there are too few. I could not make the numbers work for me and further, Acura offers EXCELLENT lease perks including mileage transfer! Luckily, I really liked the A-Spec once it was announced, and loved it once I test drove it. It was simply good timing that my dealer had these to test drive. Had I not been happy, you guys would have heard about it as I ran off to Cadillac or Audi for my sedan needs.

Cadillac ATS -V is on my list and something I may get down the line. A beautiful car.

Neuron, I was dealing with someone at Valley Stream Acura for a 2016 Acura RLX hybrid with only something like 49 miles on it. The price that they gave me was super completive as I was almost serious about closing a deal, I would of done it sooner but in the back of my mind was the conservative looks of it. Luckily I seen the blue a-spec SH model at a dealership in NJ and closed the deal the same day after the test drive. This is an excellent handling vehicle with enough power to put a smile on your face. I agree with you on the optimism on improvements with their upcoming flagship sedan.

I haven't seen the Still Night Pearl colour in person, as my dealership doesn't have one yet. It does look great in the pics, but I'm wondering how it fares regarding swirl marks? I have always stayed with medium to light colours to avoid the extra maintenance.

We have Fathom Blue Pearl on our MDX and it doesn't show swirl marks, but we try to be careful with how we wash it. Being that Still Night Pearl is brighter would lend me to believe that it would be easier than Fathom Blue Pearl to maintain.

I'm sure it requires the same care as black. I recently had my NSX done with Kamikaze glass coating and it looks awesome, and it should last quite a while, a year or so. I plan to do the same with my TLX, with more coats because it's an outside car (NSX and V wagon live in the garage).

BTW, I don't do either. Spray washes only, no brushes, California Duster for dried rain drops and dust. I don't get swirls myself, but notice that most dark cars have them, and also tend to look dirtier somewhat faster...thus my preference for the light colours.

Some quick iPhone photos from today:
First wash today followed by a quick layer of Zaino.
The TLX's elder uncle, my '99 NSX-T.
First tank I drove: 21.8 mpg with 50% city.
First fillup. I alternate between Sam's and Shell V-Power for my daily drivers. Darn my finger in the shot!

I saw the red in person as I was driving away for the first time with my A-Spec. It was gorgeous! I should have taken a picture.

I've dropped the idea of getting a gen-2 NSX. Just deciding between the two reds Audi offers on the new V10 Plus. It's the last naturally aspirated engine that we're likely to see in a mid-engined supercar, so a third NSX will have to wait.

At least their blues are to die for, SH-AWD is the bees' knees, and the three-motor Hybrid drivetrain is truly amazing tech that I was privileged to use for almost three years. I can only imagine the Hybrid system's becoming light enough to put in a TLX, or even an ILX, someday

I am considering a new NSX, but with the consequential need to sell my house, I am wondering whether there would sufficient room in the NSX for sleeping, a portable potty, a small beer fridge, and.....my wife?

Perhaps hook a trailer on your nsx, no? It does have 500+ hp to tow it anyway. Dont let it go to waste
