What offset/spec for 20" wheels?

Have anyone put on 20" on the 4G TL? If so what is your offset and spec of the wheel?

THanks!

Many...many people have, myself included.
Here is a thread with some aftermarket wheels, they may or may not include offsets.

https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-298/unofficial-pictures-aftermarket-rims-4g-tl-thread-768768/

The factory 18's are 8 inch wide and +55 I have 20x8.5 legend type II with a +40 offset. You can check my garage to see some photos of them to get a feel for the fit.

Check out a few of the other threads in this sub-forum, you'll find many others who have put 20's and the sizes and offset.

20x8.5 with 38 offset on front and 20x9.5 with 42 offset on the rear. Will that fit on a 4G TL?

I'm assuming you have the FWD TL be you should not run a staggered wheel setup with AWD. I'm not sure on the 9.5 with that offset in the rear - doesn't seem like it's that aggressive (which should fit fine). I would check the other many threads here for people who have ran staggered setups on the FWD TLs.

Actually that set up was from my current 2008 RL. My RL lease is up next year and might consider the new TL since the bolt pattern on the RL and TL are the same. I just want to see if I can swap up my wheel. I haven't decided on either a FWD or AWD, but most likely a FWD.

Staggered wheels on anything but RWD is like a a basketball player wearing soccer kleets on the basketball court, makes no sense.

40mm offset on 8.5" width, or 32mm offset on 8.0" width is ideal, same outside of wheel position, no fender rolling or rubbing, lines up perfectly.

Agreed. I think this is a case of "Sometimes a dog is more than just a dog." There is nothing practical about a staggered wheel/tire package on a FWD car. It just gives the car a "cool" look. The lessee/owner is trying to make a family sports sedan look like a super-car. There is nothing wrong with pimping out your car for, lets say for example, a show. But it is not only unsafe, but a complete waste of money to put big rear tires and wheels on a car that will only produce about 130 HP to the rear wheels at the most. And if it's FWD, it's just more shit that will slow the car down.
SAVE YOUR MONEY!

They are many options available when dealing with wheel sizes and offsets. There isn't just one set standard...
If you decide not to go staggered you can do like a 20x9 all around with 37mm offset which looks real nice, sits perfect without rubbing.

Curious if these http://www.modbargains.com/20-inch-M6-Wheels.htm with the 35mm offset will work on a 2010 TL SH-AWD?
