Want to lower ride, please help

hello. I want to lower my ride to fit my new 2RJ Legend 2 20's. What should I get? I want to maintain stock ride, but want a to hide the wheel gap. It is my daily driver and I am a sales rep, so I put on 20-25k miles a year..

So I do H&R or a Tein? Please advise? Nothing too slammed but a nice look.

Got your PM - but figured I'd post here to help out others.

I would say Tein Super Streets with EDFC if you have the cash. That will allow you to lower the ride the exact amount you want, and control the damper settings for road/highway use.

If you're looking to save some money, I've got the H&R's and I love them, similar ride to stock and kills the wheel gap.

Good Luck

Thanks Pete..

What about the Tein HTech or Stech springs? Seems to be a bit lower of a ride than the H&R?

Those I don't know about since they are FWD only. Maybe someone else here knows more.

Pete2010, you just run H&R springs, keep the stock shocks, and don't need camber correction kit?

Pete, do you have any trouble with scraping on rougher roads? Also, did you install yourself, or have a shop do it? Thanks.

No issue scraping, just on a VERY steep decline I've scraped once, but I think I would have even if not dropped. I had Excelerate install my springs (Vendor Here). I don't have the skills to do them myself.

I spoke with the guys at Excelerate and they helped me with the decision of the Tein Stech. IT lowers approx 1.6 in in front and 1.5 inch in rear..

Thanks, Pete for the heads up. When you had Excelerate install them, was there anything else you had to buy or was it just the springs?

About 4 hours and get an alignment about 3-4 weeks after when they settle. No regrets getting mine.

So, no camber correction kit is needed after installation of the after-market springs? Anybody who has been lowered for awhile (with no camber correction kit) notice excess tire wire?

SPC makes a camber kit for the 4G that will correct your camber issue problem...Got the camber kit on the front and rear on my ride for a while now with no issues.

So with the H&R springs, you don't need a camber kit?

I am leaning toward h&r springs because of the reviews, and I saw it in person.

I'm not into slamming anymore.
