TPMS Kit

Has anyone successfully repaired their TPMS by just using a kit?

I'd rather spend ~$10 for a kit than $60 for a whole new sensor.

Just wondering if anyone has had success.

P.S. Drove on a flat for about 500 feet.

i would assume you would have to mount a tire and drive it for a bit to test it out.. mounting and balancing cost alone is not worth it for you to do it a 2nd time if you find out it that the repair did not work.

The kit will only fix sealing issues between the sensor and the rim.

It is of no help if the sensor itself is bad.
