tire size

Hey, I'm thinking about getting some 8.5 inch rims and I was wondering what size tires to get. My stock tires are 245. What do y'all think I should do?

If you're staying with 19 inch rims you can try 255 40/19's.

Been using 255 40 19 on stock rims since day 1 give a slightly smoother ride

Hey 4G, just upgraded to new wheels recently myself. Got a wheel and tire package from tirerack - pre-mounted and balanced, and was able to easily install myself. New wheels are 8.5" wide and I am loving the new look. 245/40R19 for tire size is still a comfortable ride IMO - can certainly go up to a 255 will just look larger compared to the wheel size... Stats and pic below.

1.Brand of Rim - Enkei Tuning Raijin-19 Black
2.Rim size (diameter and width) - 19" x 8.5"
3.Offset - +38mm
4.Brand of tire - Yokohama Avid Ascend GT
5. Tire size - 245/40R19

No, not yet it's coming. I'm waiting until it gets warmer here in the east coast.

This is the look I'm going for. That's one badass TL

Nope, if you stay below a 20” wheel without an aftermarket drop - you will be good 👍🏼
