Offset for 20x9 wheels?

Does anyone know what the correct offset would be for a set of 20x9 wheels? With no rubbing issues.

I'm not good at searching this forum...I'm sure this has been discussed many times. Thanks.

offset range of +35 through +40 on a 20x9 wheel and tire size 245 35 20 will work on the 4G TL .

For my I have 20x9.5 on the rear with +47 offset. I am running 275-30-20 offset.

But that is 9.5 and I am running staggered on a FWD TL.

Hi, I just bought a 2009 White pearl 4G TL sh awd tech and was now searching for wheel upgrade. I have done some reaserach on the forum but want to make sure like a lot of new bies.

First I live in Quebec, Canada so don't want to rool my fenders because of the salt and risk of faster rusting.

Will buy the wheel first but want to keep the option of putting on H&R sprins to get that 1 inch drop that look so nice on a lot of TL I have seen on this forum. Would like not to use camber kit.

For the tire I will keep orginal diameter since I have the AWD version and don't wan't to mess with that. So non staggered setup is what I am looking for.

So wanted to know if without the springs and wiht the springs these setup would be good? Probably for rear there won't be any problem but my concerns are for the front

Looking at the TSW Nurburgring RF Bronze 20 inch and on the cheaper side XXR 530 gold 19 inch that are coming for 2013

so for the Nurburgring (http://www.tsw.com/alloy_wheels_nurburgring.php )

20x9 ET35
20.10 ET35

For the XXR 530 ( http://www.xxrwheels.com/xxr_530.shtml ) Sure that one will fit no problem

19x8.75 ET35

Thanks for your help

I have 20x8.5 +35 with 245/35 tires and that's what a lot of us here use I think 20x9 is a good fit for +35

Keep in mind:
Size = Weight

The weight on that 20X10 TSW w/TPMS is 25lbs. Add the tire and you are at 52lbs total per corner.

If you went with the 18X8.5 you'd be at 43lbs per corner.
Running the larger size adds almost 10lbs of extra unsprung weight to drag around on each corner of the car.

Handling, acceleration and stopping distance WILL be worse with this larger wheel/tire set-up.

Food for thought.

That is good info, I understand weight is important if performance is the first thing in mind but since this is a car with 2x five point harness seat ( child ) in the back I have to put look before race track performance :-)

If I can refer to this thread for oem wheel weights : https://acurazine.com/forums/4g-tl-tires-wheels-suspension-298/oem-wheel-weights-874598/

The 20x10 is not heavier than the 19" oem advance wheel so eaven if inertia of the bigger wheel Will surely affect ŕ little the acceleration, I guess it could save me speed ticket in 30 mph zone :-)

Forgot, would the 20x10 fit without rubbing or i should stick with 20x9?

The TSW is forged, not cast like the OEM, hence the lighter weight.
On the plus side, the TSW 20's will look so fine on the 4G TL!!! High quality wheel too.
Please post pics for us after you get them.
