Need aftermarket lug nuts

Sorry if there has been a thread similar this but I need some aftermarket lug nuts for my new TSW wheels. I want something that will be close to the colored of the wheels(machined face silver). I know nothing about aftermarket lug nuts and have no clue what brands to buy or what size. I want something with good quality as well so if anyone has any suggestions that would be great! Thanks guys

Also do you guys suggest getting wheel locking lug nuts instead of just regular lug nuts? And also why do so many people run open ended lug nuts? Need to order by tomorrow. Thanks guys

There is only a few options for acorn style lugs in the 14x1.5 that I have seen. Gorilla and White Knight. There is a couple other however. I would get locking lug nuts to help prevent theft of your wheels. The reason for open ended lug nuts if for people running extended studs. For most people it's just looks. You also have the option to run short or extended lug nuts.

Thank you carbon and pots for the helpful info. Carbon, I'm guessing extended lug nuts would pop out much further then regular short? If so I think I'm going to go with short. Pots, are the lugs you bought open ended or closed? Thanks guys for the help

If someone could provide me with a link to any of these lug nuts in chrome that are short sized and not extended as well as closed end that would be great. Preferably a good price too. I tried looking these up but couldn't find to many options. I appreciate it and thank you guys again

From my research it looks like Monster Lug Nuts only come in open ended and extended. They are sold in numerous colors. Lug locks are sold separately. They do offer closed caps you can install to them for another $50...

I'm running open ended and extended and mine don't stick out extremely far since the hole is deeper on my Works then my factory wheels which the oem lug sits shallow.

Here's is the lugs in chrome:
Evasive Motorsports | PH: 626.336.3400 Mon-Fri, 9am-6pm PST: Monster Lug Nuts - Chrome 14x1.5mm

Here's is the Duplex closed extended locking lug nuts:

Amazon.com: Duplex Spline Drive Acorn 14x1.5 Lug Nut Kit 20 Pc Set with Key: Automotive Amazon.com: Duplex Spline Drive Acorn 14x1.5 Lug Nut Kit 20 Pc Set with Key: Automotive

White Knight locking lug nuts you can find at a auto parts store usually. Like Pep Boys.

Lastly there is McGard.

I personally would go with Monster. After viewing them, that'll be what I switch to and then run a different set of locks or run my current locks. I original bought the black coated white knights because I didn't want to wait. They work fine but the lock is universal. So I rock those locking lugs and the factory locks. Can never be too careful with your $3000+ rims.

Hope this helps. Maybe other's will chime in besides Pots and I.

Thanks carbon!!! That definitely helped a lot. After checking out both of those lug nuts, I still feel like I like the closed ended lugs better but like you said there's not many options for our cars. I couldn't really find any closed ended lugs which sucks because that's the style I was leaning too. I also read that open ended could cause some rust on the studs. I'll look into those white knights as well.

If any others with closed ended lug nuts could direct me to something similar that would be awesome!

rust only persist with salt.. if you live in area where lots of salt is on road.. rust will come.. but if you live where i live, no issues with rust. just put some rust proof gel on the studs before you bolt them down.

I just bought and received a set of monster dark red lugs... My chrome lugs were all rusty when i took off the summer set this winter... Hoping gunmetal wheel face and red lugs look good on my black TL...

Just bought a set of white knight 14x1.5 duplex acorn lug nuts at pepboys. It was the only set I could find that was close ended. Hopefully these fit and work

Yeah mine are closed ended too. They are extended but don't stick out really far.

any issue running open ended lugs? my monsters are open ended, but i can't find the closed end caps in red (only black or chrome)... may just run them open ended. Any issue with water/rust?

Like pots said, if you live in with a lot of salt during the winters then yeah it could definitely cause your studs to rust. That's why I opted for the close ended, and personally I like the close ended look better. Mine are also standard size so they don't come out nearly as much. Just hoping they fit my wheels nicely!
