Issue re-installing suspension

hello guys and gals,

i am reinstalling the stock shocks on my '13 SHAWD TL. The clearance is really tight and I am having trouble getting the fork that goes onto the bottom of the front suspension back onto the LCA. I used the heel toe guide but it just says install is the reverse of removal. Any trick to get the bolt to slide back in? The upper control arm is still installed along with the steering knuckle. Thanks!

get a person to stand on the knuckle/rotor/lug area to help bring the suspension down

This...I actually did it myself but it wasn't very fun, I ended up pushing down on the rotor with my chest to keep my hands free, it didn't feel very good.

you could also use a breaker bar or pole to pry

It's a lot easier if you unbolt the upper balljoint from the knuckle. Just make sure you don't pull the knuckle out too far from the car on you can separate the inner joint on the axle.
